A qualified and registered Engineer with over 20 years of post-graduate experience, he bagged his first degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Ilorin in 1985 and later a post-graduate in Geotechnics from the University of Lagos in 1990. He obtained his business degree from the Lagos State University in 2004. At the commencement of his career, he had a short stint with a notable consulting firm, Adejumo Oguusola & Partners, where he was involved in civil structural and steel designs for the Naval Dockyard project and others they had at the time. He joined the public sector of the Lagos State Government in late 1986, at the Works Ministry, where he served for 14 years. He rose to the position of Chief Engineer and was involved in several major projects in terms of design and supervision for the government in both roads and public buildings. He joined the private sector in 1999, Odua Investment Co. Ltd., and served in a subsidiary, Wemabod Estates Ltd., as the controller of Technical Services and later at the group head office as a senior manager. He left as a Senior Mgr I (AGM) for own practice in June 2005. In Odua, he was involved in several projects at management level and made very good success of them, notable are the Investment House receival and the Oduatel Roll out. In practice, he has been part of several local and international bids including world bank bids. He has done several design work, projects management and facilities management work. He is also a Prince 2 TM Practitioner.
