The Galillee College mission is to upgrade the standard of living in transitional countries and to sustain development through capacity building. Galillee College addresses transitional countries need for administrative leadership, believing that human efficiency is the crucial factor in nations reaching their full socio-economic potential. It is in view of this that I would like to offer you our agriculture-training programme for the Promotion of the Rural and the Agriculture Sector Through Capacity Building, which cover the following subjects: · Rural Development · Agribusiness Development · Water and Irrigation Management · Pest Control Management · Biotechnology in Agriculture. · Horticulture and Floriculture · Aquaculture · Livestock Management · Crop Production Management · Forestry Management · Export of Agricultural Products · Agricultural Equipment And Machinery. · Arid Zone Agriculture Each programme has a detailed curriculum of lectures, study tours and workshops.

Galillee College is a public, international management-training institution. The College gives advanced leadership, management and capacity building seminars, usually of three weeks duration, to professionals coming from all over the globe. Our International Department offers a core curriculum of over a dozen programmes. Courses are assigned to one of ten academic departments: Agriculture; Business Administration; Education; Environment; Health; Human Resources; National Security; NGOs; Ports and Maritime Transport; and Tourism. To complement these our Programme Development Division designs and implements, special training projects, tailor-made for the requirements of sponsoring governments and international agencies such as USAID and the World Bank. Among the public, private and third-sector planners, managers and decision-makers trained by the Galillee College are the directors of environmental agencies, hospitals, port authorities and public transportation systems; university vice-chancellors and school principals; business, industrial and NGO executives; and countless others entrusted with the planning and implementation of institutional, national and regional renewal and reform.



 

What We Do.


Galillee College has twenty years' experience designing and implementing advanced leadership and management training programs and capacity building seminars for senior-level planners, managers and decision makers from transitional countries around the globe. Tailored and off-the-shelf courses are offered for individuals and for both large and small groups. Courses can be delivered in the following languages: Arabic, English, French, Hebrew, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. All training includes both theoretical and practical aspects. Our goal is to provide senior administrators with the specialized knowledge, advanced managerial and leadership techniques and innovative capabilities they need in order to reform and renew their organizations. Participants are encouraged to develop their strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Our faculty comprises internationally recognized academic experts and expert practitioners in their fields. They develop the curriculum, deliver the lectures, conduct the workshops, develop small group activities and supervise participants? final projects. The standard course consists of eight academic hours per day, five days per week. Participants benefit from academic lectures, case-study analyses, group discussions, workshops, games and simulations and interactions with colleagues and faculty- facilitators. Sessions in the Galillee College Computer Laboratory are included, with guidance provided for those users who wish to upgrade their computer skills. On study tours, participants visit sites relevant to their professional interests and meet with senior personnel. Each individual course is assigned an Academic Director selected from the teaching staff and a Program Director taken from Galillee College?s permanent administrative staff. The Program Director works with the Academic Director in the design and logistical implementation of the course. In addition, each course is assigned an On-Site Coord
