What We Do.


BIDE is an innovative firm that, since 1987, channels university based economists, engineers and other scientists into policy-oriented research and advisory projects in developing countries. The firm draws its staff and consultants from the Academic Community in the U.S. and from Developing Countries. BIDE has carried out more than 75 consulting assignments, successfully complying with the conditions of each contract awarded. The Institute has extensive experience in: • Creating and strengthening human and institutional capacity of government agencies and other organizations, • Advising governments on design, implementation and evaluation of both macro- and micro-economic policies, programs and projects. • Finding solutions to various types of socio-economic and financial challenges affecting the public and private sectors. • Combining field experience, theory and methodology to respond to policy and market challenges. • Deploying leading experts in a wide variety of socio-economic and financial fields, including sustainable development economics, credit and capital markets, and competitiveness and sustainability.
