Engineering and construction manager / Project Manager especially experienced in large and small water and wastewater projects. 30+ years experience in USA; 3+ years in Gulf States, Egypt and Palestine. Resident of Ramallah 2006 -7.

Have managed over 2000 staff, as Construction Manager in Qatar. Managed 30+ staff in Gaza and Ramallah as Chief of Party for USAID water project in Gaza. Skilled as hands-on design engineer / manager for small projects or as high-level project or program manager for up to US$ 100 million. Have provided risk-based prioritizations of projects, detailed reviews of at-risk projects and provided supplementary training in cost / schedule control systems to about 30 engineering Project Managers.

As Owner's agent, have been very effective performing independent cost estimates, technical evaluations and negotiations on construction contractor claims for additional compensation.

Have provided Master Planning for water and wastewater utilities and facilities to serve existing and/or projected populations. Managed and executed site development planning and design, considering topography, geotechnical data, drainage, onsite and offsite utilities, and rail and road access.

Languages: English- native; French - read OK; Arabic - can read simple text, basic speaking skills; Swedish, German - some simple situations.
