What I Do

At present i am working on a World Bank Project to improve financial reporting and accounting in the office of Auditor General of Pakistan. My experrience includes, making presentations at workshop on preparing Government of Pakistan financial statements in the light of Cash basis International Public Sector Accounting Standard (IPSAS 2), Conducted training sessions with the staff of the Auditor General of Pakistan, NWFP on preparation and presentation of Permanent, Planning and Execution Files of provincial entities on Financial Audit Manual (FAM) and Conducted data sufficiency analysis of the accounting software, System Application Products (SAP).
Assisted in NWFP certification audit.


Besides this, I have a practical experience in audit, tax, corporate and consultancy for more then ten years with leading national and international firms, icluding approximatly 2 years in KPMG. During this period I have conducted internal, external, special audits, finalization of accounts in the light of IFRS and US GAAP and audit reports thereon as a job in charge and assignment manager of various Governmental, Private and public Companies and NGO ranging from telecommunication sector to banking, manufacturing concerns and various donor funded agencies including UN agencies, US AID and EC.
